Captain D's is a chain of fast food seafood restaurants located in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Captain D's offers fried shrimp, fish fillet sandwiches, and chicken fingers along with deep-fried seafood such as clams and oysters served on top of French fries or hushpuppies. The company has been around since 1969 and now operates over 400 locations across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Their principal business address is 624 Grassmere Park Drive, Suite 30, Nashville, Tennessee 37210. They have operated and franchised Captain D’s restaurants since August 31, 2000.

The total investment necessary to begin operation of a Captain D’s franchise ranges from $1,005,600 to $1,223,600 for the current Captain D’s prototype restaurant. That includes an initial franchise fee that you must pay to the franchisor in the amount of $35,000. You must pay one-half of the initial franchise fee for each Captain D’s restaurant you plan to develop as a non-refundable development fee when you sign a development agreement with us. The development agreements require the development of at least one restaurant.
