Una Mas is a family-owned restaurant that serves authentic Mexican food. Una Mas was founded in 1990 by Maria and Felipe Silva to provide the community with the best home cooking experience possible. The original location of Una Mas was named after their grandmother, who would always say "una mas cerveza por favor" which translates to "one more beer please." Located in Arlington, Texas, this restaurant has been serving up quality Tex-Mex cuisine for over 25 years. From its humble beginnings as a small taco truck on Fort Worth's historic Main Street called El Taco Rico, it now operates two locations where you can find everything from tacos to burritos along with other traditional dishes. Mexican food is one of the most popular cuisines in the United States, but it can be hard to find authentic Mexican food outside of Mexico. Most Mexican restaurants in the United States serve Tex-Mex food, which is a fusion of Mexican and American cuisine. While Tex-Mex food is delicious, it's not authentic Mexican food. Una Mas offers traditional, authentic Mexican food that you won't find at any other restaurant in the United States. Our dishes are made with fresh ingredients and our recipes have been passed down for generations.

Una Mas Franchise Corporation, a California corporation (“Franchisor”), was incorporated on May 23, 2002, and is the franchisor for Una Mas restaurants, which feature authentic Mexican food. To simplify the language in this Disclosure Document, “Franchisor,” “we” and “us” means Una Mas Franchise Corporation “You” or “Franchisee” means the business entity, person or persons who sign the Franchise Agreement

We offer the rights for 2 different franchises in this Disclosure Document: Single Restaurant Program. Under the Single Restaurant Program, you will sign a Franchise Agreement to operate a single Una Mas restaurant. The total investment necessary to begin operations of a single Una Mas restaurant ranges from approximately $369,500 to $614,000. This includes $40,000 that must be paid to the franchisor or an affiliate. Area Development Program. Under the Area Development Program, we will assign you a defined area within which you must develop and operate 3 or more Una Mas restaurants. The total investment necessary to begin operations of a single Una Mas restaurant under the Area Development Program ranges from approximately $371,500 to $619,000 per restaurant. This includes $40,000 to that must be paid to us or our affiliate.
