One of their predecessors and intermediate corporate parents is Wendy’s International, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company which has been doing business since November, 1969, when it opened its first Wendy’s Restaurant in Columbus, Ohio.

The total investment necessary to begin operation of a Wendy’s Restaurant will vary depending upon whether the property is purchased for cash, financed or leased, as well as other factors, but it normally ranges from $2,018,500 to $3,669,000 if you purchase for cash, $570,500 to $1,131,000 if you finance, and $323,500 to $643,500 if you lease. This includes an amount between $0-$55,000 that must be paid to the franchisor or its affiliates.
