We were incoiporated in Delaware under the name ‘TxGeh Investment, Inc.” on September 13,2011. On January 9, 2014, we chaiiged our name to NextHome, Ihc. Eyen though we were incorporated in 2011, we did not become active untilMay 30,20l4, when we purchased the majority of the assets Of a predecessor. Realty World - Northern Galifomia, Inc, (“RWNC”), a real estate brokerage franchisor. RWNC is a California corporation that was incorporated in 1978 and offered and sold Realty WorlcP franchises from. 1980 to 2014. RWNC's offices were located at 2316 Orchard Parkway, Suite 200, Tracy, CA 95377 and had been for at least tire previous 10 years. It recently moved its offices to 672 West ll Street, Suite 120, Tracy, GA 95376. After sellmg us its assets Realty World - Northern California, Inc. changed its name to RWNC, Ihc. Arnong the assets we acquired from, RWNC are its more than 137 franchise agreements for currently operating Realty World o^cqs in Northern California and Northern Nevada, which we continue to support. We only Realty World franchises if we qualify to do so under exemptions to applicable federal and states franchise laws and regulations, principally to existing Realty World franchisees.
The franchise; offered by this Disclosure Document is for real estate brokerage offices. The real estate brokerage market is now imdergoing important changes with the use of digital technology becoming prevalent. Your NextHome office will use our highly integrated technology program, marketing, advertising and clean, simple branding to reach this market. Our franchised offices, are normally located in urban residential and business locations. These offices normally occupy from 5,00 to 3,000 square feet of space. The general real estate buying and selling public is the market for the services provided by our offices. The market for the services provided by our offices is highly developed and very competitive. Our offices compete with independent, chain, franchised and other real estate brokers who provide services similar to those provided by our offices. Usually our offices compete with other real estate sales organizations and brokers in the same areas in Which our franchised offices are located.
You can elect whether your franchise will have a one-year or a five-year term. If you select a one-year term, your initial franchise fee is $3,500:00. If you electa five-year term, your initial franchise fee is $7,500,00. The initial franchise fee is payable when you sign the Franchise Agreement unless otherwise indicated in tiie State-Specific Addendum to this Disclosure Document.
