It offers franchises for the odor control and cleaning business. Aire-Master has operated a business of the type you will conduct since 1977. Aire-Master first offered and granted a franchise for odor control and commercial hygiene systems in 1977, and does not and has not granted franchises in any other line of business. Aire-Master manufactures and markets certain odor control and cleaning products under the trade mark “EsScents” through distributors who are not franchisees, which are similar to products utilized in the Aire-Master franchise system. Aire-Master manufactures various products for third parties packaged under private label. Aire-Master has no other business activities and no affiliates.
The initial franchise fee is not uniform for all franchisees, and ranges from $21,90025.500 to S83.00085.000. A required $4,000 minimum inventory purchase must be added to the initial franchise fee as part of the initial fee. The franchise fee is $.0853 per person within the territory, with a minimum 3290025.500 franchise fee ($28.90029.500 initial fee with minimum inventory) for a population up to 300,000. The typical minimum territory population approved is 500,000 (franchise fee of $1.50042.500. $45.50046.500 initial fee with minimum inventory) or more, e.g., for a territory population of 1,000,000, the franchise fee would be S83.00085.000 (calculated as 1,000,000 times initial fee with minimum inventory). The current minimum inventory purchase is $4,000. The average territory requires only the minimum $4,000 inventory. In the fiscal year ending March 31, 20198 the required inventory purchase was $4,000 for all franchises sold. You must pay the franchise fee and pay for the initial inventory provided by Aire-Master on execution of the agreement unless other arrangements are made. You are required to attend the Annual Franchisee Convention and must pay Aire-Master a $1,500 set fee payable $375 quarterly, including attendance, hotel room charge for the conference days and certain meals designated bv Aire-Master for up to 2 persons, hut not including your travel expenses.
Aire-Master encourages you to obtain financial assistance through your financial sources or other financial institutions that may be able to meet your needs. In some cases, Aire-Master may finance a portion of the initial franchise fee, but is not obligated to. Aire-Master wtU not finance other opening or operating costs, and will not guarantee your note or obligation to any third party.
