Franchise Summary

Description
This franchise offering covers the right to sell (and in some cases produce) tires which are retreaded using the franchisor’s proprietary methods and materials purchased from the franchisor
Company Background
Bandag is the world's largest and most comprehensive network of tire retreaders. Founded in 1948, Bandag has become a globally recognized provider of high-quality retreading services to automotive dealerships, fleets, commercial trucking companies, municipalities and other commercial entities that require new or recapped tires. No matter what type of car you drive or how old your current set of tires are, chances are they were purchased from a Bandag franchised dealer. A family owned business with over 60 years of experience behind them, Bandag is dedicated to providing quality service for an affordable price while maintaining an environmentally sound approach to recycling used tires.
Franchise Opportunity
Tires are a critical part of any vehicle, but they can be expensive to replace. Not only are tires expensive to replace, but they also have a significant environmental impact. The average passenger car emits 1.5 metric tons of CO2 each year, and the rubber used in tires is a major contributor to this pollution. Bandag offers an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional tire replacement. Our retreaded tires use recycled rubber from old tires, which reduces our dependence on oil and helps keep harmful emissions out of the atmosphere.
