The total investment necessary to begin operation of a typical 250-room Crowne Plaza Resort hotel, excluding land costs and other matters, ranges from $35,294,715 to $61,250,530 ($141,178.86 to $245,002.12 per guest room) or more, including between $239,890 and $290,700 or more that must be paid to the franchisor or an affiliate.
