On December 30, 1988, SKS, Inc. purchased all of the franchise assets of Shipfeifer, Inc., a Georgia corporation. Since 1979, Shipfeifer had been selling franchises for the operation of fast food restaurants known as Shipfeifer’s Gyro-Wrap. On February 9, 1989, SKS, Inc. changed its name to Gyro Wrap, Inc., they began selling franchises at that time, and the franchises sold were called “Gyro Wrap”. In 2001, they changed their corporate name to Great Wraps, Inc.
